Senior User

The Senior User represents the end user(s) of the product being produced/developed. They guarantee that the interests of the end users are fulfilled by the product and that the benefits they deliver meet the standards of quality and functionality.

The Senior User is responsible for approving acceptance records for the product being produced. The Senior User ultimately monitors the progress of the product throughout the project delivery and ensures that they reflect the requirements and quality levels in product assurance.

An example of a Senior User on a project might be a senior member of an HR team who will represent HR staff in the roll out of a new HR system.
