Defined Roles and Responsibilities

Project team members need to have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities in the project. Clear direction about the project goals and responsibilities make project team members confident to work more effectively and efficiently, improving overall productivity and keeps morale high.

Note that due to the tailoring principle (scaling the PRINCE2 methodology based on the size of the project), when it comes to smaller projects some individuals may fulfil multiple roles on a project.
