A Community-Centred STEAM resource connecting Tla’amin Nation members with the seasonal foods, culture, and activities of their region; video introduction to Figma design tool and UI/UX best practices.
This co-designed STEAM artifact brings together a Figma prototype, Fig Jam board, Road Map presentation, and descriptive video narrations that explore the concept and core flows of the 13 Moon food app experience. The prototype focuses on key screens and interactions, while the Fig Jam space captures early ideation, user journeys, and design decisions that shaped the interface. Together, they serve two purposes: they provide educators and content developers with a blueprint that may guide new projects using Figma; the prototype specifically demonstrates how users can move through the app to track seasonal foods and practice in a way that centers lunar rhythm and reflection.

A behind-the-scenes look at the prototype development process:
The Road Map presentation and accompanying Loom Videos build on this foundation by narrating the author’s interactivity with the experiential learning/development process, the problem space, project goals, and main features in an accessible, story-driven format. It is designed as a lightweight walkthrough with Ampere interest holders, or community partners to communicate the app’s purpose, structure, and future directions without needing to open the full design files.
