Opportunities Initiative

Training, experience and employment for people living with disabilities

What is the Opportunities Initiative (Job Seekers)?

A disability, whether physical, mental or emotional, can create barriers to employment. Ampere’s Opportunities Initiative offers 4 to 5 weeks of engaging, paid, job-specific training, followed by a 12-week paid internship to help you overcome those barriers. It’s offered to help people living with diagnosed or self-identified disabilities build real-world skills and experience that lead to continued employment, and to help employers create accessible workplaces, for a more inclusive economy.
