A Huge Success – Iqaluit Summer Camps 2026!

Summer camps brought new faces into Ampere’s Makerspace & Skills Hub in Iqaluit. Campers explored the bay with Tikipuguut Outfitting, learned to spot wildlife and local landmarks, and discovered that land-based learning and hands-on skill-building go hand in hand.

Starting Sept. 14, we’re expanding to four days a week with age-tailored classes and new leadership, all driven by community demand. Register now, and try the first day free.

This week, handcrafted seal skin parkas from artisans across Nunavut transformed our Iqaluit Makerspace into a gallery of Inuit craftsmanship, tradition and STEAM in action.
