CTRL+AI: Next Level Digital Citizens

Find out what’s new at Ampere, and within our extensive partner network, as we work with rural, remote and Indigenous communities to ensure that everyone has the power to embrace the power that STEAM creates.

CTRL+AI is an 8-mission interactive experience that helps youth (ages 10–16) understand AI through games, stories, and real tools. Understand how AI learns and how bias happens. Imagine human-centred futures in our digital world. Move through the 8 missions and become an AI expert.

AI is everywhere, but youth need resources that are clear, accurate, fun, culturally aware, and safe.

This project offers:

  • Story missions & interactive games
  • Reflection questions
  • Guided real-tool practice
  • Built to grow confidence, not fear.
  • Responsible AI use

How to Use the Resource:

  • Move through the missions in sequence to build understanding step by step.
  • Each mission includes a starter activity, main lesson content, a game, and reflection questions.
  • The missions are organized into sections, with the main content delivered through modular cards. Feel free to pause at any point to discuss ideas, make connections to your lessons, or reflect before moving on.
  • Tackle one mission/ a lesson, or dive in for continuous, self-paced play.

Project Values:

  • Human-first: people lead; AI assists.
  • Transparent: clear when and how AI is used.
  • Responsible: fair, careful, thoughtful use.
  • Culturally aware: guided by respect & relationships.
  • Youth-safe: no personal data. No browsing. No hallucinations.
