From hand drumming and guitar strumming, to pop punk and mad scientists, STEAM Fest will feature amazing local artists and entertainment for every taste!
Cassie Noble
Cassie Noble is a musician from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, finding beauty in madness, trying to find the words to share it. Cassie’s Indie Folk Pop style is mellow, heavy with emotion, and overflowing with honesty. The music she creates feels calm and surreal, like a crackling fire in the middle of nowhere.
Missy Knott
Melissa (Missy) Knott is a mother, member of Curve Lake First Nation and was appointed to the Ontario Arts Council (OAC) Board of Directors in September 2023. She is an award-winning singer-songwriter who performs as Singing Wild Rice Girl and is the founder of Wild Rice Records, an Indigenous-led arts collective based in Nogojiwanong (Peterborough).
Naandewegaan – Healing With Drums
Naandewegaan – Healing With Drums is a traditional women’s hand drumming group based out of Michi Saagig Anishnaabeg territory in Nogojiwanong – Peterborough, Ontario. Our members Janet McCue, Zainab Amadahy, Mshkiki Gitigaan Kwe, & B. Serene Brennan bring their voices together to create a harmony that’s intended to heal.
