Ampere’s Bathurst Makerspace is about unlocking creativity, inspiring innovation, and creating a space for the community to discover new possibilities. The Makerspace offers a welcoming place to explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) through play-based activities, drop-in programs, and camps.

STEAM Discovery Drop-Ins
Saturday, year-round
Explore free drop-in programs on Saturdays. Parents are welcome to stay and play or drop kids off (dependent upon volume of attendees). It’s a different experience, and a different FUN activity every week! Follow our partners at Layers 3D Studio on social media for up to date programming.
STEAM After School Skill Builds
Learn to program a micro:bit or turn code into music for some dance beats —these free drop-in programs for youth aged 8-13 help participants explore a specific subject weekly, and learn more about the world around them.
