Recruitment Process
At Ampere we have a three-step hiring process.
- Step 1 – Preliminary Interview with our P&C Team: Selected candidates will be asked to participate in a 20-30 minute preliminary interview via Google Meets with a member of our People and Culture Team. During this conversation we want to take the opportunity to learn more about you and your interest in working for Ampere! This is also your opportunity to ask us any clarifying questions about the role and organization.
- Step 2 – First Interview with Hiring Committee: Candidates selected for interviews will be invited to attend either a video or an in-person interview with our hiring committee, each lasting for 60 minutes, based on their preference and circumstances.
- Step 3 – Second Interview with Hiring Committee: Selected candidates will have the option to participate in a 60-minute interview with our hiring committee, either through a video call or in person, depending on their preference and circumstances. This interview will serve as the final step in the evaluation process for the position.
For certain roles, candidates may need to complete an assessment before their first interview with the hiring committee. If selected, our People and Culture Team will provide assessment details. We’re committed to fairness, transparency, and offering feedback to all candidates who complete assessments, regardless of the outcome. Your interest in Ampere is appreciated!
Ampere is strongly committed to fostering diversity within our organization. We welcome applicants who will contribute to the further diversification of our staff including, but not limited to, Indigenous people, women, visible minorities, persons with disabilities and persons of any sexual orientation or gender identity.
Ampere is engaged in ongoing self-reflective practice to ensure inclusive, barrier-free recruitment, selection processes and work environments. Please inform us should accommodation be required at any point in the recruitment process.
Ampere will support candidates who require childcare during their interview process by being flexible with accommodating an interview time, or providing a subsidy to help cover any childcare costs.
