Root & STEM is a print and online educator resource that features community-driven stories of creativity and innovation from coast-to-coast-to-coast, unique perspectives from expert contributors and original activities and curriculum that put a human, community face to STEAM education.

For Ages 15-29

Innovation Club for Teachers

You can get the latest STEAM kits, technology, curriculum and activities for your classroom for FREE, or support a young learner (15-29) to help them bring their volunteer, community focused idea to life with a $5000 grant! PLUS, join a network of like-minded young educators, gaining access to mentorship, workshops and more! Open to people aged 15-29 in YK, NWT, NU, ON, and NL.

Solar MindSet

Bring renewable energy to life with the SolarMindSet, an innovative STEAM education tool, by Ampere. This hands-on kit offers the opportunity for your learners to build, design and code and study a solar energy capture device through experimentation and discovery. You’ll receive extensive curriculum, activities and more to help you shine a light on STEAM.
