This course equips learners from businesses, community-based organizations, and volunteer groups with the knowledge and tools to create inclusive workplaces and program environments for People Living with Disabilities (PLWD) by removing barriers.
Learners will explore how to identify the strengths of PLWD, recognize the benefits they bring to an organization, and apply inclusive hiring or volunteer recruitment practices. The course also introduces employers, managers, and volunteer coordinators to strategies that support on-boarding and retention for PLWD in both paid and volunteer roles.
